A focused session for creative entrepreneurs, makers, and small shops ready to improve their operations and product development strategy. We review your processes and workflows to find practical ways to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and increase profitability. Recommendations are tailored to your setup, tools, and goals.

A fixed price agreed upfront. Projects with considerable upfront material costs may require additional payment before work begins.

We negotiate an hourly rate and a contract ceiling before starting, then invoice monthly for work completed. We provide good-faith material estimates, notify you at 80% of estimate, and check in before any purchase that would exceed it, so you always make an informed go or no-go decision.

For a long-term relationship, retain our services for a monthly fee applied against costs incurred that month. For technical management coaching, for example, a monthly retainer provides nearly 24/7 access to professional engineering expertise.

We write technical and scientific content: articles, guides, and documentation.
06 Warranty
Real engineering and research and development carry genuine uncertainty: some hours confirm what works, others rule out what does not, and both move the project forward. So we bill for the effort itself, not a guaranteed result, which is why our work carries no warranty and products are provided as is. We recommend a level of effort up front, and it is up to you to set a cap on the hours if you want one. We would rather have that conversation at the start than at the invoice.
