The Open Source Smart Greenhouse

An Arduino-based greenhouse controller that logs environment data to the cloud and visualizes it for a smarter harvest, documented in the open.

Sensors, cloud, and dashboards working together for a smarter harvest.

Using an Arduino MKR1010, Arduino IoT Cloud, and Google Data Studio dashboards, the smart greenhouse keeps an eye on temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and light, then surfaces the trends that actually change how things grow.

The goal was never just to collect numbers. It was to turn a wall of sensor readings into something a grower can act on, and to do it with off-the-shelf, open parts that anyone can buy and adapt.

The full build is documented at Hackaday so you can follow along, fork the ideas, and grow your own.
