Find a rhythm

Choose a family and shuffle the seed. The same seed and settings reproduce the same openings.

Make it yours

Scale or rotate the composition, adjust openings, and set the physical dimensions. Select an opening in Stencil view for individual edits.

Make it real

Review the geometry checks, export STL, and open it in your slicer as millimeters. JSON saves the editable project, not just a picture.

Good to know

A stencil needs connected material. Openings that cross the safe border or violate the minimum web are left out. Some pattern families generate approximate counts; the usable count is always shown.

Whole-pattern transforms can change which openings fit. Individual edits are rejected if unsafe. Generating a different family or seed clears individual edits; Undo brings them back.

Pattern scale scales positions and openings. Opening size scales each cutout around its own center. Advanced mode adds stretch, shear, translation, mirrors and print assumptions.

On paper shows the ideal geometric outline. Real marks also depend on pencil shape and stencil thickness. Curves are approximated with line segments.

Local autosave belongs to this browser and location. Export JSON for a durable backup or to share. This app does not upload anything, fetch libraries, use analytics, or require an account.
